Look What I Can Do

I have been using Squarespace for over 2 years now, and I love it. I love it so much, that I use to camp out in the Developer Forum to help out everyone else in using Squarespace. So much so, that they hired me :)

Now in being busy with that, and a ton of additional projects I have taken on, I have not had too much time to get back in there and lend a hand. Additionally, I have seen a great deal of incoming traffic to my site from the Developer Community due to customization posts I have added in the past, and I want to make sure I help these visitors out.

So, here is my plan:

1) I'm going to make time to return to the Developer Forum, and help out.

2) I have changed my site design so many times, that posts that I have written in the forum will not coincide with what is currently showing on my site. So I plan on recreating these Forum Thread tips I have written on my site.

3) I get asked almost daily on how I did certain things on my site (e.g. the JS Slideshow at the top), so I compiled this list and I'm going to start posting instructions for all to use.

4) I'm going to try to solve this Disqus disaster. I removed it from my site again (for the 4th time), because it is very buggy, and takes forever to load. Additionally, it does not play nice with existing comments.

Well, I hope this will help.

If you have any additional questions on what I have done on my site or need additional help, please drop a Comment below.

Cheers!!!

I may have to get with you and see what your rate is. I have some ideas about my site, but lack the skills. So look for a ping this summer. I have enjoyed the tips you have passed along in the past and can't wait to see what SQSP rolls out next.

Thank you very much for your time, you within Squarespace they have their best gains.

My advice, do not give much time to your blog, but neither leave without updates. At least once a week can be a good pace.

Remember that, after all, your blog is yours and truly reflects who you are.

Glad to know you're back, I'm following your blog-feed recently. Once again, thank you for your time here.

Hi - great site, love the rolling banner at the top, would love to know how you do it, I can see the JS, but impossible to determine what needs to be done to do it. any tutorials or help would be very much appreciated !

Hi Matt,

I know I've been meaning to put a tutorial together for months on this, just haven't had time. I'll get to it soon.

Hope this helps.
