Welcome, Google Buzz

Well it is official. Google has entered the realm of Social Media with its new exciting tool called Google Buzz. Google Buzz is integrated into your Gmail account, and allows you to post content directly to it, or feed in entries from various Social Media services like: Flickr, Google Reader, Twitter, etc...

At first, I did not think that this would be good at all after playing with Google's last attempt at something cool -- Google Wave, which I think is still a useless tool. However, after playing with Google Buzz, and figuring it out, I am starting to like it more and more.

My Twitter Profile

I signed up for Twitter awhile ago, and would post a tweet once a month, because I could not figure out what to use it for. So between signing up and now, I've had a love hate relation with it.

Recently, Vincent Wright, the head of one of the networking groups I'm associated with, posted a message to all of the members with a great way to use Twitter, and invited us all to post our Twitter profiles to the group.

Since then, I've learned what a valuable tool Twitter is, and since I have a great iPhone App - TwitterFon, I can check and post tweets throughout the day.
