My Favorite iPhone App -- Gowalla

There are a number of Apps on my iPhone that I use and enjoy. I have talked about them in the past. The most exciting App that I currently use is Gowalla. This fun little App, which is similar to Foursquare, lets you roam all over and Discover and Check in at places you visit.

You can share your experiences at different locations, and post them for you Twitter and Facebook friends, as well as have your Friends that have the Gowalla App, see where you are and have been. You also get little rewards as you find and check in at different locations.

How Did You Do That? - ColorSplash

Well I finally did it... I purchased my first iPhone App.

I usually grab the free ones from the AppStore, mostly because they were free, and I am cheap. Most of the Apps that I have downloaded are Games, Newsreaders, and a couple miscellaneous ones that I thought looked cool and I wanted to check them out.

But this one was different...

This one, I would actually use daily if I had a chance to. This one, made me say wow! This one, did something so amazing I could not pass it up. This one, when I saw an example sent to me from a friend, made me ask:

Additionally for me, since USA Today is my favorite newspaper, due to it actually having news worth reading in it...

iPhone App Fun - Newton's Cradle

Newton's Cradle - enabled

I came across Newton's Cradle in the Appstore the other day, and at the sight of seeing it, it brought back memories, so I downloaded it immediately.

I use to have one long ago, and for some reason, I fell in love with watching it, and seeing the different patterns I could get the swinging balls to bounce against each other.

Now modernize in form of an iPhone app, this popular executive desk toy is loads of fun.

iPhone App Fun - iBonsai

iBonsai - Brainpower Labs

iBonsai is a unique digital abstraction of the bonsai experience.

I've had way to much fun with this app. Lately, when looking to release some stress, I sit and grow little iBonsai trees and listen to the ambient music.

Every tree grown is different, and in changing the settings you can grow some amazing to crazy looking trees. Another neat feature is that you can use your finger to turn and spin your tree to get a 3D view of it.
