My 2009 New Year's Resolution

This will be the year!!! The year I quit smoking. This is my number one New Year's Resolution.

If you read my earlier blog post on change <Change? Yes I Can>, I made mention of quitting smoking as being a possible little change goal. Since writing that post and doing a lot of thinking on changes to be made, the goal of "quit smoking" kept popping up.

So let it be written, that as of January 1st, 2009, I will be smoke free.

I know I have tried to quit in the past, but in following through with my "Goals of Change" for 2009... Where I have failed in the past, I will succeed in the future.

What If I?

After looking back at my last post titled "Change? Yes I Can", I have been doing a lot of thinking. Mostly about following my plans of how to change what I do in the future, and how to make these changes.

Lately, when thinking about my future and plans for change, I can not help but look at the past and say:

"What If I"...

What if I did this???, what if I did that???

These three little words always appear in my mind...

Change? Yes I Can

With all the mention of "Change" over the last two years in regards to the 2008 Presidential Election and the future of this country, I have taken a step back to look at myself and my future. Can I change???

Yes I Can!!!

I am going to make 2009 the year of change. Whether it be a little change or a huge step. As little as quitting smoking, to as big as moving the entire family and starting our lives over. Will I change???

I will make sure of it!!!
